This is a beautifully patterned spiny oyster shell wrapped in 22 gauge solid sterling silver square wire. The piece measures approximately 5/8" of an inch (1.5875 cm) across at the widest point and approximately 2" inches (5.08 cm) from top to bottom.
 
The pendant will come strung on a 27" inch (68.58 cm) satin cord. A 16" or 18" sterling silver chain can be purchased separately if you choose.  Please use the below link for the chains.
